We are delighted to announce the launch of the African Data Engineering and Science Association (ADESA) — a pan-African professional association dedicated to advancing the data science and engineering professions across all 54 nations of the African continent.
ADESA was founded in response to the growing demand for a dedicated professional body that speaks to the unique challenges and opportunities facing data professionals working in Africa. While global associations exist, none have been specifically designed to address the African context — from the richness and diversity of African data sets, to the specific infrastructure challenges, to the need for Africa-relevant use cases in education and certification.
